Description

The Set Mirror Plane command opens a panel that allows you to define a mirror plane to be used at export to mirror a symmetry grid. Note that only CAE solvers currently implemented as a plugin, CGNS, GASP and Kestrel support this feature.

Tip: Using mirroring at export saves you the trouble of copying and mirroring your topology for export and then having to delete it again afterward.

In the Plane Mode command frame, the Undefined option is used to turn off the mirror plane setting once a mirror plane has been defined. All other Plane Mode options are described in more detail in Edit, Transform, Mirror.

Tip: The Undefined plane mode should be selected if you wish to no longer mirror your grid on export.
