Description

The Framework command is available when one or more of any of the primary entities are selected. This command is also available when one or more sources are selected. There can also be a mixed selection of any of the primary entity types and sources for the command to be available.

Tip: Remember that when the Frameworks panel is active, selection is for frameworks only. Therefore any selected frameworks will preclude availability of the Create, Framework command. Switch to the List or another panel in order to select entities or sources for use of the Create, Framework command.

Select the entities and or sources which will populate a new framework. Go to Create, Framework. No panel is opened for this command. A new framework is created as a child of the currently active framework with the selected entities/sources immediately transferred to that new framework. Once a framework is created, you can set it to be active, change its visibility, and perform other operations using the Frameworks panel.
