Description

In the Run tab you will find information about the extrusion as well as options for specifying and executing the number of steps for the Normal extrusion.

Normal Extrusion Run Panel
The Normal extrusion type uses either an algebraic or hyperbolic method.

In the Extrude frame you can use the Steps text field to specify the number of steps to extrude. Control over whether these steps are marched forward or backward is provided via the Run and Back commands, respectively. To march the extrusion forward or backward one step at a time, use the Run 1 and Back 1 commands. The Restart command removes all extrusion steps and returns to the initial edge or front. During the marching process, a yellow circle is rendered to indicate the location of the largest marching step in the front.
